The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting temporal mapping research that documents land use change in the Chicago/Milwaukee metropolitan area. USGS is actively pursuing potential partners and collaborators in creating geo-referenced databases of land use change. The purpose of this web page is to provide information concerning the research in the Chicago/Milwaukee region and to seek other individuals, organizations, agencies or Universities interested in participating with the USGS on this research effort.
