Temporal Urban Mapping - Metadata Documentation

    To conform to National Spatial Data Infrastructure requirements, the study complied with the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Content Standards for Digital Geospatial Metadata (FGDC, 1994). All techniques, lineage of source materials, and procedures were documented. We evaluated, and are currently still in the evaluation stage, the use of ARC/INFO DOCUMENT, a program written by the USGS and the Environmental Protection Agency that aided in the management of metadata collection efforts.
